The multi-location problem nobody designed for
When you open a second or third school, the cracks show fast. Each location becomes its own account, with its own student list, its own rates and its own reports. Moving a student between schools means retyping them. Seeing how the whole group did last month means exporting from every account and stitching spreadsheets together.
Staff access gets messy too. Either the front desk at one school can see every location's money, or you maintain a separate login for every person at every site.
One organization, every school
In Tenbelt, your organization holds all of your schools. You set things up once and each location inherits them:
- Shared settings. Programs, rank ladders, membership rates and policies are defined at the organization level, with room for each school to adjust where it needs to.
- One student record. A student keeps a single profile, with rank, attendance, family and history, wherever they train.
- Combined or per school. The dashboard shows students, new sign-ups, check-ins, dues and past-due balances for all schools together, or for one school at a time.
The right access for every role
Multi-location means more people touching your data. Access is set per role and per school:
- Owners see every school, every number.
- Front desk staff work with the students and payments of the school they're assigned to.
- Instructors see their classes, attendance and ranks, and never see money.
- Kiosk devices can only check students in.
These rules are enforced in the database itself, not just hidden on the screen. A front desk account at one school can't read another school's data even through a direct request.
What to ask any vendor before you switch
If you run several locations, these questions separate real multi-location software from single-school software with a location dropdown:
- Is it one account for all my schools, or one subscription per location?
- Can I see combined reports without exporting anything?
- Can a student move between schools without a new record?
- Can I limit staff to one school and keep instructors away from billing?
- Can I set rates and belt requirements once for the whole group?
Frequently asked questions
How many schools can one account hold?
There's no fixed limit. The product was designed from the start for groups with many locations under one owner.
Can each school have different prices?
Yes. Rates are set for the organization and can be adjusted per school where a location needs its own pricing.
Can I bring all my locations over at once?
Yes. You can import students per school from a CSV export of your current software, with a preview of every row before anything is saved. See the switching guide.
